Steve Thompson odds-on for Blackpool job

Caretaker manager Steve Thompson is now the favourite to get the Blackpool job.

Thompson was third down the betting list this morning, behind Owen Coyle and Paul Ince.

But the Daily Mirror have reported that Coyle does not want the position. His odds have drifted, and so too have Ince's, who is now at 6/1 with Stan James.

No knowledge base of players, no experience of management and loses his first game as caretaker 4-1. Just the man, then.
