Official: 'Pool Sign Hurst On Loan

Blackpool have officially announced their first signing of transfer deadline day - and it's a bizarre one.

The Seasiders have completed the signing of 19 year old right back James Hurst from West Brom on a season-long youth loan.

Hurst has represented England at youth level and joined the Baggies from Portsmouth last season.

Roy Hodgson can recall the player at any time.

Quite why the Seasiders have signed another right back is beyond us here at Vital - hopefully Ian Holloway will provide us with the thinking behind the deal before the night is out!
