Blackpool Take Lancaster Captain on Trial
Lancaster City have revealed that their captain Neil Marshall is on trial at Blackpool.
Their twitter reads: 'Lancaster City defender and skipper Neil Marshall is on trial at Blackpool FC.'
The 26-year-old central defender signed for his hometown club in 2006 and gone onto play more than 100 games in the non-league.
And the Giant Axe club, who play in the Evo Stik First Division North, say he is currently training with the Pool squad with a view to a move.
Marshall's side beat the Seasiders in a pre-season friendly a matter of weeks ago and the player won Lancaster's player of the season award last term.
