Warrender Arrives On Loan

Manchester City's reserve team defender Danny Warrender has come to Blackpool on a months loan.

The 19 year old has been impressive for Steve Wigley's side this season and has also captained the reserves on a number of occassions.

'It's a great opportunity for Danny to get some league football,' says Steve. 'He's done ever so well in the reserves this season, but like with Jonathan D'Laryea going out to Mansfield as well it's nice to give the opportunity to play in the league and it's important at their age that they get that experience.

'The pair of them have played a lot of reserve team football, and what they need to do is test themselves at another level where results are everything. I'm convinced that both of them will go and do very well.'
