Ipswich Striker Scotland on Blackpool's Radar

The Seasiders are interested in signing Ipswich striker Jason Scotland before tomorrow's transfer deadline, Vital Blackpool understand.

The Trinidad and Tobago international is a target of Ian Holloway, with Coventry and Birmingham City also rumoured to be interested.

Signed by Roy Keane this time last year, the 32-year-old has now been overtaken in the Portman Road pecking order by new front men Michael Chopra and Daryl Murphy - captured by Paul Jewell.

Although scoring from the bench in the 2-1 win against Leeds on Saturday, if the right offer came in before the 11pm deadline, the Tractor Boys would cash in on the former Swansea man.

It could be that Holloway looks to a loan move if the transfer fee funds weren't made available to him by Chairman Karl Oyston.

A case of watch this space with Pool scrambling to seal their targets; you'll find about it here first. Stay Vital.
