'Pool Back In For Ranger?

There is speculation this lunchtime in the media that Blackpool have made a fresh bid for Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger.

'Pool had an offer for the 20 year old accepted earlier this summer, but Ranger rejected a move to the club.

However, Toon manager Alan Pardew has told the striker that he has no future at the club and has effectively been placed on the transfer list; indeed, the Premier League side have been touting the player around clubs up and down the land in recent weeks they're that desperate to offload him.

Seasiders manager Ian Holloway is known to want to bolster his attacking options before tomorrow's 11pm deadline, and it seems that Ranger could well be back on his radar.

As always, Vital will have all the transfer news as it happens.
