Phillips' World Cup Dream Over
Matt Phillips is set to return to Blackpool after England were last night eliminated from the U20 World Cup.
Brian Eastick's side lost 1-0 to Nigeria in the Second Round, meaning that they exited the tournament without having won a game or scored a goal.
Phillips was comfortably England's best player during the competition, but even his performances were hit and miss and he'll have to work hard on his return to Bloomfield Road to earn his place in the Seasiders' starting XI.
It is not yet known when Phillips will be returning to England, so he may not be available for 'Pool's clash with Peterborough on Sunday.
