'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Official: DJ Campbell Leaves Blackpool For QPR

Finally it's happened: DJ Campbell has left Blackpool.

His destination, as expected, is newly promoted Queens Park Rangers for a fee believed to be in the region of 1.25m.

The 29-year-old was a revelation for the Seasiders during his time at Bloomfield Road, with a goals to game ratio of close to one in two.

QPR manager Neil Warnock had said a couple of weeks ago that a deal was dead, but Campbell's desire for Premier League football made the move happen.

It's a regular occurrence that Pool have lost big players on the eve of new campaigns and the club will move on ahead of the game at Hull City tomorrow.
