Blackpool Make It Eleven: Llera Signs

Blackpool have signed defender Miguel Llera after a lengthy trial at the club.

The 31-year-old pens a one-year deal with the option of another.

Released by Charlton Athletic at the end of the season, Llera won't be Ian Holloway's first choice at the heart of the back four but provides back up for Ian Evatt, Alex Baptiste and Craig Cathcart.

But if and when he does play, the Spaniard says he will give 200% to the cause:

'I know I will give 200% for the club and that is all I can do,' he told the official website.

'I don't really like to say what I am good at, I prefer other people to judge me but I think I have good quality on the ball and I am strong in the air.

'I also like to score goals - I practice free-kicks every day and I've also scored quite a few with my head and I hope that I can score a couple and impress the fans.'
