GK Coach Fairman Leaves Blackpool

Blackpool's goalkeeping coach Andy Fairman has left the club, Vital can reveal.

Fairman became the first team's goalkeeping coach last summer after Peter Fox's departure, but rumours have been circulating for the past few days that since arriving back from the training camp in Portugal that Fairman had left the club.

And with his name having been removed from the official club website this is clearly now the case, although it is unclear if he has left for another club (like chief scout Billy Dearden did earlier this summer), or if he was simply relieved of his duties.

It is not yet clear who will replace Fairman, although it is reported that first choice goalkeeper Matt Gilks is currently co-ordinating the goalkeeping department's coaching sessions with the assistance of the rest of the club's coaching staff.
