'Pool Linked With Llera

'Pool Linked With Llera

According to reports down south today, Blackpool are being linked with a move for ex Charlton centre back Miguel Angel Llera.

The 31 year old Spaniard is currently a free agent after being released by Charlton earlier this summer, although Brighton are also believed to be interested in him.

Llera began his careeer in Spain and didn't move across to England until 2008 when he joined MK Dons.

After a year there, he moved on to Charlton but has struggled to establish himself at The Valley.

Nevertheless, Kent Sports News report that 'Llera is an excellent trainer, regularly staying behind to practice his free-kick technique. In his early days, Llera's errors - like [Gary] Doherty's - were magnified by many fans, whereas Christian Dailly's errors were quickly forgotten. He was keen to earn a new contract with the Addicks and delivered some accomplished performances towards the end of the season.'

Llera is the second centre half to be linked to the Seasiders this summer; the first was ex West Brom centre half Abdoulaye Meite who has since signed for French club Dijon.
