Liverpool's Shelvey NOT Joining 'Pool in Adam Deal
Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey will not be joining Blackpool as part of the Charlie Adam transfer, we understand.
However, it is not because he rejected the clubs advances.
Vital Blackpool have learned that the 19-year-old was never offered on loan by Liverpool as a sweetener to the £8m deal, which will take Pool skipper Adam to Anfield.
The news pours scorn on tens of media reports in the last week saying that Shelvey was key to negotiations.
Boss Kenny Dalglish sees the former Charlton man as a key first team squad player. He won't be sending him anywhere - despite interest from Ipswich amongst others.
Defender Stephen Darby was being lined up as a player to join the Seasiders whilst it is reported by the Liverpool Echo that Scottish international Danny Wilson is another being linked.
