'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Pool To Run Rule Over Kearns

The Blackpool Gazette are this afternoon reporting that the Seasiders are set to watch young Irish winger Daniel Kearns in action tomorrow for Dundalk against Galway.

Kearns is the third young Irish player to be linked with the Seasiders this summer following Stuart Dallas and Jordan Owens (who are rumoured to have both been offered trials at Bloomfield Road this summer).

It is Vital's understanding that 'Pool were tipped off about Kearns by Welsh striker Matt Tipton, who until December last year played with Daniel at Dundalk.

Kearns began his career at West Ham but was released after three years, whereupon he joined Dundalk.

The left winger was born in Northern Ireland, but in 2010 switched allegiances to the Republic of Ireland and has represented them up to U23 level.
