BWP Deal Not Dead... 'Pool After Ramsey?

Earlier this week 'Pool manager Ian Holloway spoke of moving onto other targets after failing in a bid for Plymouth's Bradley Wright-Phillips.

It is believed that 'Pool bid around £20,000 for the forward, but despite being hard-up, Argyle rejected the bid.

Instead, the player seemed set to join Championship side Reading for a six figure sum.

However, it has emerged this morning that the player - who has a history of knee trouble - has failed his medical at the Madjeski.

Could the Seasiders now move again for the player with Plymouth perhaps dropping their asking price following the Reading developmemts?

Meanwhile, a football agent on Twitter has claimed that the Seasiders have enquired about taking Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey on loan until the end of the season.

FootballAgent46 has commented (usually accurately) on the Seasiders before and seems well connected in the game. One of his other transfer tips this month links Charlie Adam with a move to Sunderland - one of the clubs known to be chasing 'Pool's talismanic captain.

Ramsey has recently returned to Arsenal following a loan spell at Nottingham Forest where he made his return to first team action following a broken leg last season.

It has been reported that Ramsey seemed low on confidence at the City Ground, but if there's anyone who can get him firing on all cylinders it's Ian Holloway.
