'Pool Bah Transfer Collapses

Mamadou Bah has joined Stuttgart instead of moving to Blackpool, it has been announced.

The Guinea international was all set to sign for the Seasiders (and indeed we published a story yesterday that he'd joined the club) but has now decided to move to Germany.

Problems with the player's visa and passport are reported to have been the problem for not uprooting to the Fylde Coast.

Terms had been agreed and he was ready to join the Seasiders in the Premiership.

As a website, we were led to believe that Bah had definitely signed and can only apologise for the publication of yesterday's article. We only let people know when we're 100% sure, obviously in this case we were wrong.

Stuttgart sporting director Freddy Bobic said: 'He is a highly talented player.'
