Wanderer Phillips Signs For Blackpool

Wycombe winger Matt Phillips has signed for Blackpool.

The 19-year-old has been a bit hit at Adams Park and was chased by a host of Championship clubs all summer.

The deal is thought to be around 350,000 which could rise to 700,000 if the Seasiders were to stay in the Premiership.

It's thought that the England Under 19 international has penned a three-year deal.

Wycombe boss Gary Waddock said: "It's a great opportunity for Matty to play in the Premier League and we couldn't stand in his way.

"He's an outstanding prospect and I'm sorry to lose him, but it's a great move for him and excellent business for the football club."

More news to follow, with 'Pool expected to make at least another three signings.
