Blackpool Braced For Signing Spree

The Seasiders are set for their busiest day in the transfer window to date, with up to seven players being chased by the club.

Ian Holloway had said that he's looking to strengthen the squad after a decent start to the Premiership season.

Vital understands that a deal for defensive midfielder Mamadou Bah from French club Strasbourg has already been completed.

Wycombe Wanderers Matt Phillips was spotted at the game against Fulham on Saturday and according to internet reports is nailed onto complete a move before the 6pm deadline.

Phillips is an England Under 21 international and has impressed over the past year in the lower leagues; a deal could be done for under 300,000.

The DJ Campbell saga rumbles on, with the striker finally expected to make the switch from Leicester City - especially as the Foxes snapped up Sunderland's Martyn Waghorn yesterday as a possible replacement.

Kyle Lafferty is another striker who's been mooted as a possible target, with Rangers looking to recoup a portion of the 3m they spent on him.

Preston fans won't be overly pleased about this, but Ollie has been making enquiries for Portsmouth's David Nugent and that move is in the hands of their administrators.

Bosnian Zlatan Muslimovic, who plays for PAOK in Greecem has been linked by Sky Sports.

Muslimovic starred in PAOK recent Europa League play-off win against Fenerbahce, when he scored the extra-time winner to knock the Turks out. He had a scoring ratio of 1 in 3 last term.

As always, Vital will be all over deadline day until 6pm tonight.
