'Pool Make Pitman Bid

'Pool Make Pitman Bid

In breaking news tonight, Sky Sports News are reporting that Blackpool have made a bid for Bournemouth striker Brett Pitman.

The channel are reporting that the Seasiders have offered an initial £400,000 for the player, although the offer includes clauses that could see the fee rise to £600,000.

'Pool have been tracking the prolific striker ever since Ian Holloway became manager at Bloomfield Road, and it is believed that an offer from the Seasiders for the player was rejected in January.

Pitman scored a hat-trick for the Cherries at the weekend against Peterborough, where he was watched by scouts from 20 clubs, one of which was seemingly Blackpool.
