'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Evatt: Euell And Brett Vital

In an interview with the official website, Ian Evatt has said that the experience of Jason Euell and Brett Ormerod will be vital to the Seasiders this season.

The centre half said:

'I think that the spirit that we've got and the belief that the gaffer has instilled in us will serve us in good stead for this season.

'It's down to hard work, fitness, concentration, not being nervous and just being ready for whatever's going to be thrown at you.

'Euellie and Brett are the ones that need to keep everyone's feet on the floor and tell them what it's all about so that, come the first game of the season, we realise what needs to happen.

'The gaffer has got a way of playing now that seems to suit us, obviously we're going to have to adapt here and there, but we'll go about things the same way. We've always got goals in the team, it's making sure that we don't concede too many and that we get the points where we can.'
