The Sun claim that New York Red Bulls striker Macoumba Kandji is wanted by both Blackpool and Bolton.
The 24 year old has impressed in pre-season matches against Manchester City and Tottenham this summer - something that may have alerted the Seasiders and Bolton.
The Sun also claim that Blackpool are behind Newcastle and Sunderland in the race to loan Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley. It is also believe that the Seasiders are battling Sunderland to sign United forward Danny Welbeck on loan.
Meanwhile, it has been announced that Francis Jeffers pulled out of the Seasiders' friendly with Crewe last night with fatigue.

I saw both Welbeck and Cleverly in action in Utd friendly recently - both would grace Bloomers. Welbeck has good pace, strength and awareness as a target man. Be nice to make sure PKE don't get a sniff!
