Clarke Out For Season
This is the worst pre-season I can remember. Still no signings and now the injuries are piling up.
It was announced this afternoon that Billy Clarke will be out of action until at least April following surgery on his injured knee.
As reported first by Vital, the club had hoped that Clarke might only miss two months of action, but sadly the injury is worse than they feared.
He underwent surgery on Saturday on the injury he picked up just two minutes into 'Pool's first friendly of the summer against Tiverton, when it was identified that the injury was as bad as it is.
Meanwhile, young striker Lewis Almond will be out of action for three months with a dislocated shoulder.
A massive blow.
