The Rumour Mill

And they're off...

Even though he's on the verge of completing his move to the Seasiders, rumours are still floating around concerning Dekel Keinan.

The player was expected to complete his transfer to the Seasiders yesterday, but is not now expected back from getting his passport signed and stamped in Israel until Tuesday, Vital understands.

In better news, the centre half passed his English test with ease.

So, Keinan aside, what else is going on?

Well, one report claimed that the Seasiders were out of the race to re-sign Seamus Coleman on loan after 'Pool chairman Karl Oyston baulked at the loan fee the Toffees wanted for the player.

We're not sure on this, but we do know that Ollie is now looking at Swansea's right back Angel Rangel as an alternative. Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has denied that the Welsh side have received any offers for the player this summer, however.

Rumours continue to link the 'Pool with loan deals for Manchester United pair Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck, but it all appears to have gone quiet on Aston Villa's Barry Bannan; could James Milner's expected departure present a first team opportunity for the young midfielder at Villa Park?

Meanwhile, it would appear that the 'Pool's interest in young Oldham striker Tom Eaves has alerted other clubs to his services, with media outlets linking the likes of Steve Bruce's Sunderland with a move. It is believed that Blackpool have had a £200,000 bid rejected for the player.

One striker who could be heading to Bloomfield Road though is DJ Campbell, if rumours are to be believed.

And finally, it is Vital's understanding that 'Pool are currently locked in negotiations with Celtic over winger Patrick McCourt.

Ian Holloway is a long time admirer of the player, and the two clubs are currently haggling over a fee.

Have a nice Sunday everyone!
