Ollie Impressed By Martin
Malaury Martin started Blackpool's 2-1 win over Accrington last night, and by all accounts the French trialist impressed.
The midfielder is currently on the books of Monaco and has represented France at every youth level (often as captain), but has struggled to make an impression at first team level.
However, it would seem that the player has impressed Ollie, and there are growing reports that Martin is set to be offered a permanent contract by the Seasiders.
Speaking after last night's game, Ollie said of Martin:
'It's very difficult. Obviously my French isn't very good as I didn't really do very well at French in school.
'His English is much better than my French and he's having to learn what I'm saying and I'm not sure if he's getting much of it.
'He played in a little role and was so disciplined, but I didn't want him to be so disciplined. He moved forward a little bit and showed all sorts of the quality that I know he's got.'
