International At Blackpool For Medical Tomorrow

Sky Sports News are reporting that Dekel Keinan will complete his move to Blackpool tomorrow.

The Israeli defender was out of contract at Maccabi Haifa at the end of last season and will have a medical at Bloomfield Road tomorrow.

At 25, Keinan has 15 international caps to his name and has Champions League pedigree.

The news is hardly unexpected, with the transfer common knowledge for a week now.

Karl Oyston told the Gazette: 'We've spoken to Dekel and his representatives and we're hopeful that we can finish the deal off, subject to a work permit.'

Ian Holloway had pledged not to sign a player he hadn't watched live and unless Keinan was a long term target, it seems 'Pool were desperate to land their man as quick as possible. This could've been due to the player's refusal to have trials at other clubs.
