Cleverley Loan No Go?
Several reports this summer have linked Blackpool with a loan move for Manchester United Tom Cleverley.
However, it was being reported last night that following the news that Owen Hargreaves is injured yet again, Cleverley is set to get his chance to stake a claim for a place in Sir Alex Ferguson's squad next season; pouring cold water over any potential loan deal.
Meanwhile, Preston have denied rumours linking goalkeeper Andy Lonergan with a move away from the club.
However, in the same interview, PNE manager Darren Ferguson claimed that Lonergan is the best keeper in the Championship. Even PNE fans think he is delusional!
Finally, it is Vital's understanding that Stephen Husband has asked Blackpool manager Ian Holloway to let him go out on loan in order to gain more first team experience.
