Evatt: We're Full Of Belief

Speaking to the official website this morning, Ian Evatt said that the Seasiders' squad is full of belief following their rise to the Premier League and that they're looking to take that confidence into the new season.

28 year old Evatt's first experience of Ian Holloway the manager (at QPR) wasn't the best, but at Blackpool it's been completely different, and the centre half was quick to pinpoint Ollie as the key to that self belief and confidence:

'We're full of belief and the gaffer instills that in us and I'm sure that he'll do that again during pre-season and we'll be ready come the first game.

'Every game is going to be a cup final and we need to make sure that we're ready and prepared and there's no better man in charge than the gaffer to do that. He'll make sure that we're full of confidence and we're full of belief.'

Evatt might face competition for his place in the side next season however from Israeli centre half Dekel Keinan, with the Daily Mail following up reports over the weekend stating that the player had signed for the Seasiders by stating that the player will jet back to England on Wednesday to complete the deal.

Meanwhile, the Seasiders are also being linked with midfielder Ludovic Sylvestre.
