Ex-Arsenal Defender In Talks With Seasiders?
Blackpool are in talks with Arsenal full back Kerrea Gilbert, according to Sky Sports.
The 23-year-old was released by Arsene Wenger at the end of last season. This came after he failed to push Bacary Sagna or Gael Clichy for a first team place.
This speculation ties in with the rumours coming out of the club today that Ian Holloway was meeting with Karl Oyston and two players.
One of the players was said to be Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, but that could be wrong with Gilbert being the same type of build as the midfielder.
Other rumours suggested that Gary Hooper was at the club for talks, which, like this story, is unconfirmed.
Gilbert has had loan spells at Leicester City, Peterborough, Cardiff and Southend, whilst also having Champions League experience.
