'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bournemouth Man Slams Blackpool Exit Talk

Brett Pitman has yet again been linked with a move to the Seasiders.

The Bournemouth striker, who notched 28 goals last season, is reportedly attracting the interest of Ian Holloway.

It's said in the Daily Mail that the Cherries want upwards of 700k for the frontman.

However, Bournemouth Chairman Eddie Mitchell has, in the last two weeks, said: 'Brett is here. I saw him on Tuesday in the corridor and he looks fighting fit and looking forward to the challenge.

'You can dismiss it completely. We want to keep him.'

It seems to me that it's another day and yet another name to add to the ever-growing list of links to 'Pool. What to believe?

The facts are that Pitman - although scoring a sackful of goals last year - only has experience in the lower leagues and whether Ollie would be chasing someone like that, for that kind of money, is highly debatable.

However, the League One newboys have signed former Accrington striker Michael Symes, so could they be willing to cash in on Pitman?

All speculation, as always...
