'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Follow The Mersey Masters LIVE With Vital!

Vital Blackpool will this evening be bringing you live coverage of the Mersey Masters football event from the Liverpool Echo Arena.

A team comprising of Co-Editors Jack Gaughan and Eamonn Moore, and birthday boy Neil Carman have been granted press passes for the event and will be bringing you all the latest news, discussion, gossip, and hopefully photos and interviews as and when they happen.

So even if you're going to event itself or watching it live on Sky, please join us for what should be an entertaining evening from just before 5pm.

We will be covering the event on both this site and social media, and if you're not already a member of our forum or a fan of ours on Facebook or a follower of ours on Twitter, you can find out how to become all of those in articles just a little bit further down our home page.

The Seasiders team for the tournament is as follows (correct at time of publication): Lee Jones, Mike Flynn, Colin Greenall, Junior Bent, Phil Clarkson, Steve Thompson, Andy Morrell, Tony Ellis (c).

The other teams taking part are Liverpool, Everton, Wigan, Tranmere and Preston, with the Seasiders taking on Preston and Tranmere in the group stage.

Indeed, Blackpool v Preston is the second fixture of the evening and will take place at around 5.25pm.

Other ex Seasiders involved in the tournament include Matt Jackson (Everton) and David Eyres (Preston).

So simply log onto the site a little before 5pm and join us for what should be an entertaining evening, or, if you're going to be there, come and say hello!
