Due to Premier League regulations, Blackpool have announced that they will be launching new home, away and third kits next season.
The Premier League state that clubs are not allowed to have any sponsors on the back of shirts, on shirt sleeves or on shorts - all of which the Seasiders have.
After consultations with kit manufacturer Carbrini, it was decided that the best way to go was to design new kits.
Thus, next season the Seasiders will be playing in a new home kit which will be (unsurprisingly) tangerine with a white trim, a new away kit which will be white with a tangerine trim, and (should the Premier League ratify it) a third kit which will be dark blue and light blue stripes and will launch halfway through the season.
The kits will also feature new sponsors as well, after Carbrini agreed to forgo their sponsorship of the front of the shirt next season. The Seasiders are currently in negotiations with several interested parties on this front.
Pictures of the new kits should be available very shortly, with the club hoping to have at least the home kit in stocck by the beginning of August.
