Seasiders Announce Double Signing!

Seasiders Announce Double Signing!

That headline got your attention didn't it?!

So it should, because the Seasiders have announced their first two signings of the summer... for their Masters side!

For the first time this summer, Blackpool will be entering a team in the Mersey Masters which will take place at the Liverpool Echo arena on July 4th.

And yesterday, the first two signings to their Masters team were announced - former goalkeeper and Player of the Year Lee Jones, and cult hero centre half Mike Flynn.

Speaking to the official site about taking part, Jones said:

'I am looking forward to getting out and playing again [Jones is currently goalkeeper coach at Morecambe] but also to catching up with some of the supporters and old team mates. I enjoyed my time at the club and I am delighted to see how well they have done this season.'

Let's hope that the lads still have some magic in their lockers!
