Earnshaw Lavishes Praise on 'Pool
Nottingham Forest striker Robert Earnshaw reckons Blackpool are a 'force to be reckoned with' ahead of the play-off final on Saturday.
The Seasiders take on Cardiff - one of Earnshaw's former teams - in what is billed the richest game in football.
And the Wales international said: 'Don't listen to this 'it's only little old Blackpool' line.
'They are a force to be reckoned with, that's for sure. They work their socks off and play some decent football along the way.
'Oh yes, they will give it the good old punt upfield when it's necessary, but they do it only when the occasion calls for it.'
His Forest side were blown away by Ian Holloway's team, especially in the second leg of the semi final at the City Ground. A DJ Campbell hat-trick helped the Seasiders secure a 6-4 aggregate win.
'Cardiff must be on their guard and can't get trapped into thinking that Blackpool are all kick and rush,' Earnshaw continued.
'They get the ball down and drag players out of position, they are a real handful because they stop teams playing from the back and cover every blade of grass.
'They work so hard for each other and, as I say, this idea of Blackpool being a small team is nonsense.'
