Adam Delighted With Scotland Call-Up

After yesterday's call-up to the Scotland squad for the friendly against the Czech Republic in March, Charlie Adam spoke to the official website about his delight in making new Scots manager Craig Levein's first squad.

'I'm obviously very happy that I managed to get in his first squad. There have been many changes since my last game for Scotland against Wales and I'm looking forward to linking up with the team again,' Adam said.

'Craig's a good manager who has a reputation for getting teams playing well, and I just hope that with the quality he's got in the squad that he can kick us on.

'The squad that has been picked is strong and the majority of the lads are playing in England now and that shows how well they've been doing. I think the manager will be looking forward to working with the players.'
