'If It's Football, It's Vital'

March Madness!

The club yesterday launched 'March Madness!', an attempt to get Bloomfield Road sold out for the Seasiders forthcoming home games against Ipswich, Crystal Palace and Swansea.

Like similar offers in the past, fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the above games at a much reduced rate.

Indeed, an adult can purchase tickets for all three games for just £30, senior citizens for £20, 16 - 19 year olds for £10 and under 16s for £5.

But the fun doesn't stop there. Season ticket holders will be able to claim a free drink and a free pie at one of the above games on producing voucher B from their season ticket book.

Manager Ian Holloway, speaking to the official website about the offers, said:

'March Madness? Boy that is mad - what a great deal! I've said on many occasions that our home support is vital, and I would encourage everyone - mums, dads, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, sons, daughters, grandmas and grandads - to come down to Bloomfield Road and see what we're all about.'

What this offer means is that the South Stand could be set to open for the Ipswich game at the beginning of March. We say 'could' because we're all aware of the delays (it was meant to open this Saturday as we reported, but another deadline has been missed). Wouldn't it be great to open the South with a home sell out though?

With the team looking to mount a late charge for the playoffs, credit to the club for announcing these offers - with the team doing so well and with so many important games to come, we need to get a real buzz around the club and the town and these offers might just do the business, and attract back some disillusionised and floating fans as well as hooking some new ones.

Hopefully these great offers will be advertised everywhere and Bloomfield Road will be a sea of couldron of tangerine over the next month.

Don't just wait for us, AVFTT, the club, The Gazette, or the local radio stations to advertise the offers though - spread the word yourselves, I know I will!
