DJ Suspended After Holloway Row
Radio Wave DJ Chris Evans has been suspended by the station after a bust-up with Blackpool manager Ian Holloway.
Evans, a Blackpool fan, asked fans to boo the manager at Saturday's game against Watford.
It has been reported that Ollie was that unhappy with the DJ's comments that he confronted him in the sponsors lounge at the game and gave him a piece of his mind.
Radio Wave say that Evans has written to Ollie to apologise, but 'Pool chairman Karl Oyston has said that his suspension should not be lifted:
'I'm extremely pleased Radio Wave have dealt with it and suspended the individual,' he said.
'Hopefully he won't re-emerge to tarnish their reputation.'
Holloway added: 'I've dealt with it now. I spoke to him directly and confronted him.
'I was particularly upset but it's gone now. I've got it off my chest.'
It is expected that Evans will return to work at the weekend after his apology.
