Cheltenham Looking To Re-Sign Eastham

With Ian Evatt and Rob Edwards returning from suspension for the QPR game on Saturday, Ash Eastham will probably find himself out of the matchday squad for the game after being on the bench against Cardiff.

Indeed, with the arrival of Andy Butler, who made his debut in Saturday's draw, Eastham will probably find himself as fifth choice centre back again.

As such, League Two strugglers Cheltenham are looking to bring the highly rated defender back to Whaddon Road on loan after his previous spell was cut short due to the aforementioned suspensions.

Eastham impressed during his time at Cheltenham, and new manager Mark Yates has gone on record to state his desire to bring the eighteen year old back to the club:

'I will be speaking to Ian Holloway to see if we can get him back.

'Ashley is strong, athletic, decent in the air and he has enjoyed himself with us.'
