Ollie Aims To Bring JET Back To The Seaside

As promised, the Blackpool Gazette has today brought us news on the future of Arsenal starlet Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.

Thomas spent three months on loan at Bloomfield Road earlier this season, and although he divided fan's opinions, Seasiders gaffer Ian Holloway was very impressed by him.

As such, it will come as no surprise that Ollie is planning to make a fresh loan bid for JET later this month, as he looks to secure his services until the end of the season.

Ollie told the rag:

'There will be a chance but I've got to ask Arsenal.'

The paper reports that the Seasiders are confident that Arsenal will allow the youngster return to the club, but that ultimately it will be down to Jay if he stays or goes.

However, I would suggest that any further loan deal may not be as straight forward as the paper suggests; JET has been included on the subs' bench in recent Arsenal games, and Arsene Wenger may see his versatility as an asset for the second half of the season, whilst Jay himself may see this as an opportunity to finally make his Gunners debut and establish himself in their first team before the end of the season.

As a fan of the player myself, I hope that we can bring him back - I think he'd be a real asset over the coming months.

As per usual, Vital Blackpool will bring you any news on this or any other deals as soon as we have it.
