'If It's Football, It's Vital'
Oyston: The Best Football I've Ever Watched
In an interview with the Blackpool Gazette, chairman Karl Oyston has praised the Seasiders' style of football this season, declaring it the best that they've played during his tenure at the top.
Oyston said: 'I am delighted with the first half of the season. It has been absolutely fantastic and from my point of view it couldn't have gone better.
'The way we are playing is terrific and it is the best I've ever seen us play.'
In his interview Oyston also praises manager Ian Holloway for getting more out of the players than previous regimes, as well as for making some quality signings.
However, he insists that he is not getting carried away by talk of the Seasiders achieving promotion to the Premiership:
'I won't get involved in any talk of promotion. I didn't when we were in League One and I'll carry on like that.'
He finished the interview off by confirming that new players will be arriving at Bloomfield Road this transfer window.
