'Pool Face Ipswich in the Cup

'Pool Face Ipswich in the Cup

Blackpool will welcome Ipswich Town to Bloomfield Road in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

The draw took place moments ago following the Kettering vs Leeds match live on ITV, which ended all square at 1-1.

The fixture will be played over the weekend of January 2/3 but is unlikely to attract television interest.

'Pool have failed to progress past the 3rd round since 2007 - losing away to Torquay and Barnsley in both of the last two campaigns.

So it was perhaps always likely that the draw would pan out this way, with The Seasiders seemingly always getting duff ties!

Brentford v Doncaster

Middlesbrough v Man City

Stoke v York

Notts County v Forest Green
