'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Three Seasiders On International Duty

Although there is no Blackpool game this weekend, three 'Pool players will be in action after receiving international call-ups.

Charlie Adam was brought into the Scotland squad on Tuesday after Steven Whittaker and Kevin Thomson withdrew through injury. Scotland play Wales this weekend, with the Welsh missing injured 'Pool pair Neal Eardley and David Vaughan.

Bouazza's Algeria face a massive World Cup qualifying showdown against Egypt; if they avoid defeat by a margin of two or more goals, then they should qualify for next summer's tournament.

With the game carrying such importance, tensions are high: it has been reported how a group of Egypt fans ambushed the Algerian team coach, pelting it with stones. Fortunately Bouazza escaped injury free.

Meanwhile, Al Bangura links up with Sierra Leone for a charity game against Dutch side Willem II.
