'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Thomas Jets in From Arsenal

Arsenal's Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has signed on loan at Blackpool for a month.

The 18-year-old, who captained the youth team at the Emirates at just 16, is touted as the next big thing coming out of the prestigous academy.

The Gunners' number 38 is considered a very versatile option in the middle of midfield, possessing great energy but with bags of ability on the ball as well.

Manager Ian Holloway was delighted at the capture, and hopes to extend the deal further than the original month.

'I'm delighted.

'The pleasing thing for me is that Jay came up on Saturday and saw the way we play; he believes that he can help us.'

You'll love him lads, watch him rack up the goals!

He should do well for you, but I'm not sure where on the pitch he'll play. He has played pretty much everywhere for our youth/reserve sides. He just needs to be more patient in releasing the ball sometimes, but other than that he's a very good young player. Big lad too.
