Two Sign Short-Term Deals

Trialists Mark Hudson and Adam Nowland have signed non-contract agreements with The Seasiders.

The midfield pair both played 45 minutes in the win over Everton last Tuesday and have impressed Ian Holloway enough to earn another period at the club.

But by signing deals like this, both are eligible to take part in the League Cup fixture at Crewe tomorrow night.

At 28, the two were both released by League Two clubs at the end of last season despite playing a big part in the respective campaigns.

It remains to be seen whether Nowland or Hudson will stay at Bloomfield Road beyond the end of August.
