Oldham's Eardley Signs for 'Pool
Wales right back Neal Eardley has signed for Blackpool from League One side Oldham Athletic.
The 20-year-old joins the club on a two year deal with the option of another on top of that.
The transfer is an undisclosed fee, which is believed to be in the region of £250k plus add ons.
Eardley made 113 appearances for the Latics in his three year stay at Boundary Park and had been handed the captaincy on numerous occasions last season.
His great strides for Oldham saw him capped by Wales for the first time in 2007 and he's go on to take the field for his national side ten times.
Eardley has been under direct competition from former Spurs defender Chris Gunter on the international scene and despite Gunter being transferred for over £3.5m in the last two years, Neal has almost matched him for caps.
Blackpool fought off reported interest from Coventry City among others for the signature of the defender, who will be given the number five shirt.
