Blackpool President Valeri Belokon will pump a 'considerable amount' of money into the transfer pot for Ian Holloway to spend, the official site has announced.
This news followed a meeting of four hours between senior officials within the club and the gaffer.
Mr Belokon will be setting up a fund specifically for transfers which begins on Wednesday.
The date does stand out as it was today revealed that there was to be an announcement from the club early next week surrounding the future of the Latvian.
But this piece of news is fantastic for the supporters, and Holloway is delighted.
'This is fantastic news for the club.
'Me and Mr Belokon chatted at length on Wednesday and his passion was clear for everyone to see.
'I'm looking forward to discussing the players we have identified.'
Chairman Karl Oyston was also pleased, saying: 'This is a massive boost for the club.
'He remains fully behind achieving his goal of Premiership football with Blackpool.'
We'll ignore Karl's use of 'his goal' for now shall we?
