'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Premiership Friendly Announced

David Moyes' Everton will travel to Bloomfield Road in pre season to face The Seasiders.

The Premiership outfit, who finished 6th last year, will battle out Blackpool's final friendly of the year on 4th August.

That's a Tuesday night before the big one on Saturday away at QPR.

Ian Holloway has been talking to the Blackpool Gazette about the game, and is excited to get pre season underway.

'It's a big bonus getting Everton lined up and it just completes what I think is already a strong pre-season,' said the boss.

'It doesn't really matter what the results are.

'Pre-season isn't about how we get on in terms of winning or losing - it's about getting the lads in the right mindset for the challenge we've got ahead.

'You can win every game pre-season, think you've had a good one and then start terribly. Alternatively, you can lose every game and start winning.'
