'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bye Bye Brett?

Fans' favourite Brett Ormerod has confessed that he is worried about his future at Bloomfield Road following the appointment of Ian Hollloway.

It is thought that Ormerod had been offered a new contract by Tony Parkes, but that his departure from the club may have changed the situation. Indeed, the Blackpool Gazette suggests that wages may also be a sticking point for Ormerod - an all too familiar story where Blackpool are involved.

Brett told the paper that 'I have spoken to 'Thommo' (assistant manager Steve Thompson) and hopefully I will speak to Ian Holloway, but there is nothing that has been cut and dried.'

Ormerod scored two (great) goals after returning to Bloomfield Road in January, and many fans will be hoping that he stays on at the club.
