Rangers Reject 'Pool's Adam Bid?
Rangers have rejected an offer from Blackpool for Charlie Adam, according to reports.
The Daily Mail has published in today's issue that Walter Smith turned down £300k for the central midfielder.
But it is thought that The Gers want rid of some of their fringe players in order to balance the books, and Adam certainly fits that bill after spending the last four months of the season on loan at Bloomfield Road.
And because that loan spell was so successful, The Seasiders want their man, but they look set to have to pay in excess of £500k for his services.
That is perhaps not unreasonable on Rangers' part, as Derby have recently been rumoured to bid £400k for Shaun Barker. Adam is clearly worth much more.
However, this story does lack some credence, as we are still without a permanent manager!
