Marriner Best Blackpool Ref 08/09

Andre Marriner has been the best referee to take charge of a Blackpool game this season, according to our forum members.

Every week after a Championship fixture, users log onto the website and rate the man in the middle out of ten.

And despite placing eight players in the book and sending one off in his two fixtures, Marriner received an average rating of 8.33 from the 'Pool fans.

Strangely, he has only taken charge of four Championship games this season, which so-happened to coincide with our games.

The list does reflect the overall opinion of football fans across the country; Marriner and Andy D'Urso are highly regarded by many whilst we'll struggle to find a supporter who has a good word to say about Jarnail Singh - who finished bottom with a score of just 0.2 after a 1-0 away defeat at Reading, a game which saw Lee Hendrie see red.
