Evatt stays at the seaside

The big centre back has put pen to paper on a new two year deal with the option of a further year at Bloomfield Road.

This is excellent news for the club with Evatt following Ben Burgess in committting his future to the Tangerines.

Evatt has made 33 appearances for Blackpool so far this season scoring once in the draw at home to Crystal Palace in October.

The 27-year-old is back in training after misssing the last month because of an injury sustained at Bristol City at the end of February.

The signs are good for next season, providing Blackpool stay up of course. Key players are happy to stay with the club and that can only bode well for the summer.
