'Pool Move Definitely Temporary, says Loanee

New loan signing Simon Walton has stated that his loan move to Blackpool is definitely temporary, but history suggests that he'll be on his way out of Plymouth pretty sharpish!

The midfielder, who can also play right across the back four, said 'My family are here (Plymouth) and I want to continue playing here.'

Despite only have a couple of days to sample the delights of Squires Gate, Walton seems desperate to buck his horrific transfer chain - which has seen him travel to eight different clubs. Not bad for a 21-year-old!

He went onto state that 'I'd like to think that I've still got a future at Plymouth, but this (the move to Blackpool) was a chance to play some football,' all this coming after he's only played a part in four games since a sending off at Barnsley back in December.

That straight red card left his manager Paul Sturrock fuming, hence Walton's lack of games since. This further questions the player's belief that he has a future at Home Park, with history suggesting that he'll be out of the door pretty quickly.

For a man of his age, clubs have spent an unbelievably amount of money on him. Charlton bought Walton for 500k from Leeds United but sold him a year later to QPR for 200,000 after he didn't play a game for The Addicks.

His appearance record at Loftus Road wasn't much better, starting only one game before moving onto Plymouth - 12 starts later he could be on his bike again, but it's likely that a move won't be to Bloomfield Road, given his recent quotes.
